Like many local authority organisations there was widespread recognition across West Berkshire Council that mobile and flexible working could deliver a triple win, in terms of benefits to the organisation, its customers and employees. The challenge the Council faced was ‘how to make it happen’. This slideset looks at the “Timelord” project and explores the feasibility phase that West Berkshire County Council went through in 2008 to understand the work-style requirements for different roles across the Council. The council is now in the second of three phases of deployment, with mobile and flexible working deployed across the majority of the Council by December 2010.
