Mobile Working Seminars for Social Care

April 19, 2011 By Ken Eastwood Leave a Comment

These free supplier events from Consilium may be of interest to public sector NOMADS working in social care;

Access to information is vitally important to the role of a social worker. A client’s background, history and assessments are fundamental to the care they receive. Yet, many social workers have very limited access to information when outside of the office.

To resolve this issue, Consilium have launched their TotalMobile Solution for the Social Care Sector. To coincide with this launch, Consilium will be hosting Mobile Working for Adult Services Seminars and Mobile Working for Children and Young People Services Seminars across the UK.

These seminars will detail how Mobile Working could help remote Social Care workers to access the information they need in the most secure way possible and reduce personal admin hours. The benefits of Mobile Working for domiciliary care workers will be outlined in the Adults Services seminar. Consilium will also discuss how mobile technology can improve personal safety for lone workers and could save money for Social Care departments.

The events will take place on the follow dates:

Tuesday 17th May- Leeds City Museum, West Yorkshire

Mobile Working for Adult Services Seminar: Morning

Mobile Working for Children and Young People Services Seminars: Afternoon

Thursday 19th May- Spring Grove House, West Midlands Safari, Worcestershire

Mobile Working for Adult Services Seminar: Morning

Mobile Working for Children and Young People Services Seminars: Afternoon

These events are free of charge and will include lunch and refreshments. Attendees are invited on a tour of the Museum / Safari Park (please confirm at time of booking).

Essential to anyone involved in improving Adult or Children and Young Peoples Services. Don’t miss you chance to attend an inspirational conference, which will empower you to implement changes that will have a positive impact on the services you provide.

To secure your place, please call Anna Mulvenna on 02894 480000 or email Anna.Mulvenna@ctechs.co.uk
